Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking. Don't see your question? Just give us a call.

How often should I have my hull cleaned?
Most boats need cleaning every 4-6 weeks, depending on how much time your boat spends in the water and local marine growth conditions. Boats kept in the water year-round in warmer climates typically need more frequent service than boats used seasonally.
What's included in a standard hull cleaning?
We remove marine growth, algae, and barnacles from the hull, clean running gear (props, shafts, rudders), inspect and clean thru-hulls, and check zinc anodes for wear. We'll let you know if anything needs attention beyond a standard cleaning.
Do I need to be present during the service?
No. As long as we have access to your boat (marina gate code, dock location, etc.), we can complete the service without you being there. We'll notify you once it's done.
How do I know if my zincs need to be replaced?
Zincs should be replaced once they're worn down to about 50% of their original size. We inspect your zincs during every cleaning and will tell you if they need replacing, along with an estimated cost.
